Cavallo

Hand-tufted tapestry on wooden stretcher, made with wool, recycled and mixed yarns. This tapestry was made for the collective exhibit 'CAVALLI D'AUTORE' held in Siena at the Museum S.Maria della Scala from 10 -23 October 2022. The work is my own interpretation of this elegant and strong animal that is the symbol of the city of Siena. I have used yarn colours that remind me of the colours of this part of Tuscany. Size: 120 x 100 cm.
