For the famous Italian high-end fashion brand Max Mara I have created a collection of textile artworks for their Venetia Resort Collection 2025. With these artworks we celebrate craftsmanship and the great Venetian architectural tradition, a Gothic style with oriental influences. The various artworks are inspired by typical elements of Venetian architecture, such as the Bifora - a characteristic window opening - and the mosaic present on the Palazzo Ducale walls. The artworks are refinished with many kinds of fringes and tassels and they are handcrafted with premium wool and lambs wool from local Florentine factories.
