Biennale Révélations
At the next edition of Révélations at the Grand Palais in Paris, from 21 to 25 May 2025, Atelier Taftique presents three works made with a mixture of manual techniques. For her works, Vissers was inspired by nature and the pictorial art of Sonia Delaunay, a well-known Ukrainian-French artist of the early twentieth century.
At the Italian pavilion, country of honour of the 2025 edition of Révélations, Atelier Taftique presents the work Rebirth, in the shape of a butterfly, a symbol of the human soul capable of renewing and transforming itself. The work is divided into a wing with light gradations and a dark one. This effect wants to reinforce the concept of transformation, of hope, precisely of a "rebirth", in a combination of light and darkness, typical of our times.
In the section Le Banquet you can admire the large and very colourful work "Beyond the Rainbow" and the smaller work "Awakening", executed in pastel colours. Both tapestries have the appearance of geometric flowers. The spiral shapes in the central parts, made with embroidery and three-dimensional weaving, are ancient shapes that symbolize the growth and development of the universe.

Starhotels Castille, Paris
Atelier Taftique will also exhibit three tapestries at the hotel Castille Paris, a Five-Star hotel that is part of the Italian company Starhotels, from 20 till 26 May 2025. The first of the selected tapestries is Fortuna, which is part of the Venezia Collection. The second is A Wing for Life, which is part of the Wings Collection. The third tapestry is called Fiorenza I, which is part of the Firenze Collection. The tapestries will be on exhibition in the Tea Room, adjacent to the hotel hall and entrance.
