These tiny tapestries are hand-tufted and embroidered with high-quality Italian yarns such as wool, cotton, mixed yarns and some recycled fibres. The designs are variations of my wave designs of which I also create very large tapestries. The yarns present themselves with varying lengths and knots in order to create a three-dimensional texture. The tapestry is stretched on a canvas base and framed with an artisanal wooden frame painted black. On the backside the tapestry has the Taftique label and it is numbered and signed by the artist Jules Vissers. Tapestry size: 30 x 30 cm - with frame: 38 x 38 cm circa. Numbered and signed artworks.
